Entwined

A Poem by Ciola

When we speak of love

Our definition doesn’t fit

Doesn’t match their understanding

They say we don’t understand

They think they know best

And try to correct us

We have been scarred

Bruised and broken

To rise back up

With only each other to lean on

We don’t fit with them

We were never meant to

We were shattered and twisted

Into the perfect shape

To fit together

This is reality. Not just romantically, this describes things in general.

"shattered and twisted
Into the perfect shape
To fit together"

You can't really describe the nature of reality much better. It's not just romance you are talking about... that's f*****g everything.

So, let me say - well done... most of us can't even see that s**t in our own lives let alone artistically write about it.
