Dancing with Mina

Dancing with Mina

A Poem by ClareW
"

this is about my 1yr old sister

"

Dance, Dance, Dance

We spin across the floor

Your little hands clap as we plié and leap

Across the kitchen floor

Again, Again, Again

 she yells

Once the music stops

When her partner

Puts her on the floor

Her crocodile tears flow

Until the music starts once more

Up, Up, Up,

She’s lifted

Till she can reach the sky

Arms out she starts to fly

D

R

O

P

Her partner dips her low

She laughs and laughs and laughs

And her partner does it more

The music ends and she begins to pout

Until the final bribe

A cookie

She takes it in her little hand

And with a smile

 pops it in her mouth
