I am a crusader for love. 

But not all love. 

Not God’s love, 

or equal love for everyone. 

My love. 

My love for my husband. 

Because that is the love that is mine. 

That is the love that I chose from the very first moment. 

It was not given to me or required by blood. 

I was not told

that I could only be a good person 

if I loved him too. 

I wanted to. 

I chose to. 

And I will continue.
