Acquired TasteA Poem by CleveDante
I am an acquired taste
Too rich for your palate But you just can't resist The alluring scent Drawing in your senses Pulling you in closer Have you had enough? Obviously not As you frantically feed For more With intent And gluttonous greed You leave me drained I am empty I feel weak You think you have won Don't you realise What you have devoured And digested With no thought? Didn't you read the label? Sorry, I forgot I don't have one © 2013 CleveDanteReviews
