Everything ends....

Everything ends....

A Story by Kathrine
"

A short philosophy on the changes in life.

"

Everything ends. Every story stops. Every book has a final page. There is always a final goodbye even if we realize it or not. Everyone dies.

When we can see the end we fight against it. Losing the moment "the present. Everything ends. Even the things we over look. It is inevitable.

We all have a book, a game, a show, a class, a series of sorts that we wished would never end. But it did. It has. Or it will. When that happens we feel a little sad, like something will be forever missing. Though this feeling is brief it is a low enough intensity for us to appreciate it. Unlike the times when we face a death of a love one, losing an important job or go through a painful breakup. All of these are extreme examples of part of our lives ending. These are not times where we embrace the feelings of loss, but we push that feeling as far away from us as possible.

Just because something is over doesn’t mean it is gone forever. We can re-read the book, re-play the game, go back to memories of good time. Though the things that are over can no longer grow, evolve or change but they can exist. It isn’t the same, but at least the things live on.  For you see everything around you will end, even you, to live on in memory.
