Anxiety

Anxiety

A Poem by Angela Sparks

People surround;
My ears full of sound.

my heart begans to pound;
As my feet cement to the ground.

my brain begans to scream;
Yelling that people are judging me.

I can't do this;
My mind clouding with a dark mist.

I slowly start to walk away;
No one will notice the absence of my face.

This is the social me;
Controlled by my anxiety.

Thank you:)
I can relate to this a lot, s****y way to be eh. Hope it gets easier sometime. I used to lose the ability to make words come out my mouth. Unhelpful but the only way I got through it and learned to deal with people in bigger groups was with ecstasy. Did happen in the end though
