Open me

Open me

A Poem by Meagan Reynolds

Sitting here,
breathing,
thinking.
What?
Why?
How?
This all appears surreal,
fake,
lies,
wondering how it started.
Worried.
Afraid.
Glancing at you,
hopeful,
loving.
It's your fault
I swear,
I love
You.

Late for school,
oh,
well.
Forgetting you,
yeah,
right.
Hoping you will
forgive,
forget.
I need you,
close,
warm.
I want your
heart,
love.
Is it true?
You
love,
Me?

Nice shot. Love is such a bizarre that makes folks lost in some kinda dilemma of their own thoughts, consciously. It's a real feeling when the heart misses someone and wants that someone so badly but sometimes, it's all seemed fake &, as you already mentioned, so "surreal" in the world. Nothing you get outta it except... the foreplay of your own mazes. Very deep poetry. Brightly written. Look forward to read you.

Very heart felt and emotional. I like how you question and then answer yourself, as if you know what the answer all ready is.
