Leaves In Fall

Leaves In Fall

A Poem by Coll Silvermoon
"

Seasons change. My interpretation.

"

The leaves in fall

are quite pretty

and quick to fall

they are quite witty

They mock us

at every turn

But we rake them up

and watch them burn

The Leaves in Fall

Make us Sad

It marks the end

of what we had

In summer

it was warmth and light

but now its only

gloom and night

The leaves in fall

have shed their mask

and shown their true colors

and completed their task

O Leaves of Fall

colors bright

show us happiness

within our plight

I, too, wrote about the fall. Nice to see I'm not the only one. I like this, very much indeed. Great job, as always. ^-^

you're welcome :)
I think it's good. I loved the raking part. It seemed like you were just snuffing out the unhappiness. Good read :)
