Snowflakes

Snowflakes

A Poem by Coll Silvermoon
"

We all hate it when it stops us from doing what we need to

"

Gentle snowflakes

Fall to the ground

Down through the sky

without a sound

This tells us

Winter is here

and the snow will fall

again this year

Each a fingerprint

a unique design

something to be cherished

until the end of time

Snow is delicate

as you can see

it melts away

by a touch from me

Frustration looms

when lots of it drop

for when it starts

it doesn’t seem to stop

Be brave, be strong

Be still, be warm

it won’t be long

before summer comes

Then the heat

you will complain

and again it will

be winter again

Well I won't complain about the snow...we don't get much of it down here.

Nice one my friend, a little winter delight for a Tuesday afternoon.

I'm glad you like it. Yes, if there is snow in Texas, all hell breaks loose.
Really I just want to grumble here, more snow, sleet and freezing rain...gah! But I won't since you reminded me summer is on it's way. ;-)
