If I Were You

If I Were You

A Poem by Comatose
"

Just a bit twisty-like :)

"
If I were you and you were me,
We'd live ever so happily.
But I'm not you,
And you're not me,
And we can't help who we're born to be.
I talk too much,
You hardly speak.
Aggressive fits you,
While I'm too meek.
Family lost,
Nothing gained.
In these two facts we are the same.
Sworn to kill,
Dreamed to lead,
In those two things we shall succeed.
Starting in lust,
Being in love,
Lived by us are those above.
Adored by many,
Hated by but one.
To neither nor the other,
Is either much fun.
If I were you and you were me,
We'd live ever so happily.
But I'm not you,
And you're not me.
