A Poem by Commanda Panda

Staring toward the east waiting for the sun to rise

Waiting for the light to burn away the lies

Show me where I am as I blister in the heat

Once I know my path your job will be complete

I am of the night and take comfort in the shade

The darkness is my life, and I am not afraid

To dive into the void while whispering your name

Join me in my world and be my candle flame

I will hold you close if you stay by my side

And when the world goes black I will be your guide

The flame only ever shines because it is complemented by the dark. A candle burning in midday goes unnoticed. Likewise, when there is light, perhaps one can see that the void has an end. It is not quite as scary when one goes into free-fall.
