My Angel

My angel has a smile
That makes the world warm for a while
With strong arms to keep me safe
For the world can be a frightening place

With a noble stride, he walked the streets
Not caring where he placed his feet
Looking for someone to help whose life was bleak
And then he stumbled upon me

With a laugh, he raised me from the dead
Healed the wounds that always bled
That's why my heart belongs to him
My angel and I, until the end
