Night has pleasant dreams

day brings terror

that most people can only think of

in their worst nightmare

 

she can’t handle

another day filled

with nightmares

she can’t handle

her nightmare life

she swallows and swallows

until she fades

into her dreams

never to wake up to another

nightmare

ever again
