Feeding Bad Advice

Feeding Bad Advice

A Poem by C.J.H.

"

The Constant rotation into infinity.
Cycles through deflating dignity.
I laugh sometimes, the room is empty.
Collect the shine, they're soon plenty.

I walk away, back soaked rain.
My umbrella and still complain.
Holes of my pockets grow free.
My soul climbs rockets, can't yet see.....

Becoming well known by concrete
Blending cracks, otherwise complete.
We listen for every word he says.
Hearing nothing, I pretend to guess....
