Little Girls

I wrote this recently, 7 men were arrested for CSE, grooming and countless sex offences. As the mother of a 12 year old girl this is very scary and kids and parents need to be made aware.

Who needs a telly in a town like this? When

Gossip travels faster than a little girls wish. As it happens,

This news wasn't something I could miss as the Police vans

Pulled up across the road from where I live, where crimes had been

Committed that you could not dismiss.  Little girls violated,

Manipulated �" raped, convinced by their captors they

Didn't wanna escape. They loved them, made them feel

Special understood them in a way - that their family never

Could and conditioned them to wanna stay �"

They fill them up with alcohol, weed and crack cocaine

Before renting them out to low life’s -

Always happy to pay -

 

Little girls of 13 - 14, 15, 16 twelve.

 

How can you consent to something you don’t

Understand?  That takes you from

Teddy bears onto the witness stand �" from cartoons and

Dress up dolls and holding your mums hand, to drugs and

Prostitution. Little girls exploited -  

Into a twisted promised land.

 

Little girls of 13 - 14, 15, 16 twelve.

 

I hope that now they've got them, these excuses for

Human beings, I hope they throw the key away and they are

Haunted in their dreams by the faces of the little girls �"

Whose childhood they stole away and I hope a guilt

Erupts in them and drives them all insane �" because damaged

Little girls are left behind to relive the pain,

And to relive a nightmare - that will never go away.

 

Little girls of 13 �" 14, 15, 16, twelve.

I hope they know it wasn't their fault.

Very odd, I did not put any of the speech marks in that have just appeared by themselves?? Why does the text always get so messed up when you upload something?!! Argh!!
