I am attempting to convey through poetry, how the brain and its abilities, has changed in so many people.

From Many to One

By Craig Childers

The brain strives to expand from one to many

In a society of abundance and plenty

There was a time in our recent history

With so much innovation and creativity

Music was driving down various streets

With new styles, voices, and unheard of beats

Semi conductors began to launch their flight

Permeating adversity through its plight

Technologies were expanding in all its ways

Allowing all of us to extend our days

Some of them saving us dollars and pennies

While the brain was travelling from one to many

But somewhere along our times way

The brain became stagnant with little to say

Road blocks to music and its automation

Made talking not singing become revelation

Innovation began to comfort its recliner

As the rich get richer with a life much finer

And no matter what media you direct your mind

They’re all identical amidst their ratings grind

And brain atrophy begins its assault

While delusional pons become their cult

Harvesting and distributing their relentless fears

To indoctrinate others for support and its cheers

Chaos ensues and to no one do they abide

While they reel in the vulnerable, who are anxious to side

In so many places, like father, like son

As their brain as director, goes from many to one
