Ode to Fire and Water

Sunset, sunrise;
draw back the curtains like the
moon does the tides.
The horizon on fire, rubies in
the skies,
wrote a poem about it so
this boy could be
wise.

I've read this at least four-five times now, and it's so simple and lovely. I especially liked the imagery with the curtains and the moon, I thought that was rather well done - as simple as it sounds. :] And that's all I can really say, it's a lovely ode.
