Slow Down Things a Bit, Young Man, Said The Old Man

Slow Down Things a Bit, Young Man, Said The Old Man

A Poem by KL

in time things will melt away
the point of essence becoming no clearer
than when things first started out.
sitting beneath a cherry blossom, becoming
much clearer - becoming one with night,
one with each and every sound, every light,
and every sight, one who is everywhere at once
from listening, seeing, smelling, and breathing;
becoming that single moment at that brief flash of time.
