To You

I found myself looking for you in the oddest places. If I'd encounter you what would I say? What would I do? The flashbacks and remnants of memories from our relationship were not pleasant, in fact I'd even consider them to be cringe worthy. So why was my subconscious seeking you? I cannot explain it, and I cannot say why I felt in my heart and head the need to see you. Perhaps it was for a pure reason or vice versa. Maybe I just needed to know that you're werent just a figment of my imagination, that those 4 years did happen, that you're still you. All I know is that if I ever see you again I might not speak to you or even initiate any form of contact but something inside of me will be satisfied to have finally found you.
