A Poem by CriticalxxAngel
"

I'm not alone out there trying to be an individual

"

I'm tired of dealing with people.

Too much drama out there.

Unnessesary hatred,

Horrible judgments,

There's nothing left.

I wish there could be freedom,

That you could be yourself.

Without someone disapproving,

Without those evil stares.

Jealousy makes them who they are,

Wanting to be superior,

Wanting us individuals to disappear.

I will stay.

They can't control who I am,

They have no right to say what's wrong and what's right.

I will stand by myself in this messed up world.

Hoping for others to join me.

"I wish there could be freedom,
That you could be yourself."

You are only yourself in so far as others let you be, and they only gave you the tools to be yourself to the extent that they were comfortable with.

If you were truly free to be yourself, you might be surprised by how different that could be.
