Destiny

Destiny

A Poem by christopher fox

"
I'm scrounging around
for something like a
destiny.
Wondering if all these
hard things
are a test for me.
Something to conquer
Be the hero
someday
I wonder these things
But only laugh
hesitantly
that I continue forward
to tell these jokes
make it through the
day
of this infectious soak.
hoping...
on each and every hour
that the curtain will
be lifted
But not by my own
power.
