The Lonely Wolf

A wolf searches to become complete.

A lonely wolf howls.

The moon is gone.

The wolf becomes lost.

Lost in its own fears.

 

The lonely wolf howls.

No one is near.

His pack is gone.

His pride is shread.

 

A lonely wolf howls.

Is there anything left?

As he travels across this land,

Searching for a life.

A life he can belong.

 

A bear comes near.

The wolf is torn.

Will he chose life?

Or regret the day he was born?

 

The bear attacks.

The wolf moans.

No fight left in him.

As he dies alone.

 

Eyes become open.

The wolf now sees.

He was never alone.

As he becomes free.

Interesting story... I liked how you humanized the wolf and how he wakes up in heaven, I presume. I would go back and take out some of the periods and use commas instead... in a few spots. If you like I can send you an edited version for your approval.
