Liberation

Liberation

A Poem by Shiningwolf

Conjure up the masses with your greater will

                          Give it a name

A wonderful name, breathtaking as it stands

                   Feet pattering one by one

A marching band of music

                        Gifted with a sunshine's beauty

A sparkling tear splashes

Deep pools of blue on the floor

Knocking you off your feet

                        Anxiety coursing through your veins

Full of fears

Rattling your cage, shaking with pain

But nothing to fear but fear itself?

I think not.

Beautifully written. :) I really enjoyed this piece. I especially like how it started out "Conjure up the masses with your greater will".

a good poem, and an encouraging reminder, its only when my back is against the wall that I employ this concept, I wish I could use it more often even for the minor anxietys that stop me from being willing to reach out and take more risks.

That term "Nothing to fear but fear itself" use to perplex me until I figured out the meaning behind and then it made all the sense in the world. One can be in a fearful situation but they don't have to be fearful until something directly happens to them. This helps them remain focus so they think rationally to find a solution or way out. Great writing here :)
