My Dear Former FriendA Poem by CrystalThe way you flit from person to person, thinking that is the key to happiness. Thinking that by being part of many social groups is what makes you loved. You have much to learn. The way you judge everyone you are close to, screwing them over one by one. You play the part of the victim, oh why do they not want to spend time with you, yes it is a wonder. The way you constantly try to climb the ladder of popularity, just another soul wanting to fit in. The persistent need to put down those around you. The way you constructed lies and rumours, I know now why. A pathetic need for attention, a pitiful plea to fit in, to seem better than your peers. My dear former friend, I do not miss you at all. As time goes on, I know the decision was correct. I am free from you. My dear former friend, one day you may realize your errors, long after you have driven everyone away. My dear former friend, I hope it hits you hard.
