In Death I Believe

In Death I Believe

A Poem by Crystal

The one thing we can count on
is at the the end of the day
we'll all end up the same
The same dead way.
No one escapes it.
No one is too superior for death.

Everything is put into perspective,
all those idiotic things we've done
all those worries we have
are completely pointless.
Only in the face of death
do we truly let go of those things
to appreciate our lives
and chase what we've always wanted.

It's terrifyingly freeing to know
that in the end
everything is insignificant.

It's sad how many people place all their value in things that ultimately don't matter. Life must be lived. I've touched on the subject a lot myself. Great job with this.
