Happiness Doesn't Show

someone who was sad for so long that the one time they were happy, they couldn't show it.

Im sucked in too deep

In this life I live

From the day I was born

Till' the day that I end

 

I've followed my dreams

Again and again

It all ended in failure

From the day I started

 

One day I was happy

Smiling and laughing

But it ended too quickly

I couldn't show it again

 

I guess I still am happy

Inside and underneath

But I've been sad for too long

Happiness can't shine through
