You're Salvation

You're Salvation

A Poem by Pale Rose

I need to feel your lips on mine.
We'll twine our fingers time to time.
Our heartbeats keeping a steady line,
And we will feel just fine.

You'll be my salvation,
To my aches and pains my medication,
To my tears and fears great elation.

Our hearts may both be broken,
But the pieces fit together into one.
I'm a moon but you're the sun...
Your light gives me meaning.
So far away, but nothing can keep us apart.
What I'm doing is begging for you to start--

Saving me.
