Turn Out The Lights

Turn Out The Lights

A Poem by DC Gentleman
"

So wrong , yet so right..

"

We shouldn't be.. I should leave,
We both know this isn't right..
Need to walk away but I also need another night
Heart wants to go, but no, damn legs keep hesitating.
Closed eyes only visualize those thighs.
Mmm.. .how I love to see them shakin
Wrapped around my face in the sweetest embrace..
My strong hands diggin into your voluptuous waist
Though not my home, the way you moan..
I feel I own this place
Your sensuousness overwhelms me..
Why bother to fight
So... wrong
So... right
So....warm
So...
Who am I kiddin...

Turn out those lights…

Your kiss burns my soul like Vodka untamed
Though not good for me...I sip over and over again
On a highway to hell, I'm tryin to stay in your lane
Til submerged in ecstasy and we both erupt into flames
Is it your smile that melts gold
Or  hips that stop traffic...
I just know when we touch its magic
Your man don't know how good he had it…
How could he not recognize..
Wake up to your scent daily and not realize
Like I really care..you're my addiction
And if I dare... you're my affliction
Need to shake this.. shake you,
I hear karma's a bad chick
Don't think my sins are being washed away...
Baptizing myself in your heavenly abyss
So… wrong...
So … what
I'm so gone...
Turn off those damn lights

Let's escape into the darkness…
No moonlit shadows dancing on the wall
Winding to the rhythms.. sighs... cries..
Reverberating thru the halls
In the dark, I can see you how I need to
I don't want to see wedding rings
Just wanna hold you tight and breathe you
Trace my lips softly
Over every inch of your sensual curves..
You know I like to tease you
Sipping,
Savoring
Devouring..
Empowering you to lose yourself with a brotha
Surviving on passion, nourishing on euphoria
All we need is each other
But my lover.. is likely all you'll ever be
Though I've tasted all you have to offer...
Your kitchen, I'll never see
You're my dream left unfulfilled as sun breaks through our night
So often it takes a higher power to bring clarity to your life
Expose you for who you are, all your secrets, all your lies
We share one more tender kiss, say our quick good-byes
I step outside
Blinded by the light
And ponder
How I will look my wife in her eyes this time

DAMMMMMMN! ok, you know you can write! This poem was sensual and definately intended for grown folks. To be honest, I have been in this situation before... being with one person and then being seduced by another. Ugh... those were the days. Anywho, you used very descriptive words to paint a picture in my head. Ok, so this is my favorite part... "so... wrong so... right so... warm so... who am I kiddin... turn out those lights." OOOOOOOOH! that is hard (no pun intended)! I wish I came up with that! Sorry if this review sounds a bit too conversational lol Overall, great job :-D
