My Heart Saw Your Face

My Heart Saw Your Face

A Poem by Dylan James

The paper called my name
and told me to spill my thoughts,
The pencil formed the words
like a voice of love and peace,
My mind drew an image
of holding your happy hands,
While my heart saw your face,
and fell into love again-
The paper talked to me
and told me what I should say,
the pencil listened well
and drew the words from my veins,
my mind watched deathly still
and found the full truth within,
While my heart saw your face,
and fell into love again.

Love and Poetry! Sometimes you just get overwhelmed with emotion and have to write it down! Thanks for sharing this wonderful example of L and P!
