For Angel

For Angel

A Poem by Dylan James
"

OLD!

"

As the sun sets in the sky
I stare into your eyes
and time blows by
I simply can not help but cry
for I know that soon
like a boat sails from the shore
we will part again
just to miss each other more
I long to hold you close
and rest beneath the stars
'till the blinding light of day comes
like the bright lights of passing cars

Sweet but the rhythm is thrown off in the poem when you change your rhyme scheme half way through... a really sweet write though!
