One Nation under God

This is the first thing I've written that's main focus being political (obviously focusing on the United States) It's not the best stuff I've ever written so I probably won't focus on political music much but here it is.

Chaos forms over decades rule,
systematically controlling one by one,
all of them exclaiming it to be 'for the greater good,'
Liberty lost while freedoms slowly deteriorate,
Patriot warriors inside republic fires.

Once free now slowly crumbling to become the fascist,
Becoming the enemy to all,
Great power torn from the inside as the free nation falls.

Patriot warriors inside republic fires,
a war with no reason brings prophet to the rich,
as poor and innocent pay the great price,
Economy crumbles in unity lost.

Once free now slowly crumbling to become the fascist,
Becoming the enemy to all,
Great power torn from the inside as the free nation falls.

Intelligence slowly disintegrating in idiocy ruling,
Stupidity on the brink for a nation’s next step in evolution,
filled with greed and primitive need,
a nation falls from within.

The new fascist rule beckons the many once free,
Democracy losing the battle to be.

Freedom of religious belief fades through Christian rule,
'One nation under God' becomes reality,
'In God we trust' brings symbols of Christian mentality,
Religious degradation/God never trusted in this nation.

Trapped in time,
Watch Lady Liberty sink,
the free eagle a faltered symbol of freedom and peace,
as the symbolic eagle falls endangered,
Freedom and liberty join in the call.
