You sum up the statement, "Take it easy" really well here. I would not have considered the meaning behind the words until now, but we don't say this to just anyone. The statement implies we care about the other person and hope to see them again some day. Hopefully I am not too far off on my analysis. Good writing!

You are spot on with your analysis. I thought about how to say goodbye without saying goodbye. I didnt want the finality of farewell nor did I want the short term statement of see you soon. Nothing too harsh or not strong enough and Take it easy seemed to fit perfectly to how I wanted to leave things.

I feel like there was a lot of sadness and pain in this poem, and you did a good job to really capture that. Goodbyes can be so hard but it never truly has to be goodbye if you can remember them. This was a really good poem.
