Mutuality

There's nothing I want for me
That I don't want for you
There's nothing I want from you
That I'm not willing to give back
If my epitath read just one thing
Let it say, all my days ...
I shared all of me with you
And shared your burdens too

This is beautiful. If only all couples thought and acted on this wisdom so graciously put. Thanks...I love it !!

I can't find the time to read all 60 or so of your posts so I skipped back to this one. You seem to be headed to be a poet laureate. This was short and sweet. Thanks for sharing the sharing.

This is sweet. It's short and says a lot. In a loyal relationship this sentiment is what it's supposed to be all about....mutuality. The unequivocal sharing of all things which support and build one another up. Nicely done.

I like the last 4 lines:

"If my epitath read just one thing
Let it say, all my days ...
I shared all of me with you
And shared your burdens too"
