Fearlessly Afraid

Fearlessly Afraid

A Poem by Poetic Injustice

If I jump off a cliff, will you jump off too?

That's essentially what I've done

Without hesitation, I've fallen for you

Done something that can't be undone

No fear was involved in taking the leap

No caution, no saving of face

And I'd do it again, in a heartbeat

But one thing seems out of place

Why now, in light of my previous confession

Of heartsick affection that you've yet to share

Do the words, in my throat, stick like a confection

And can't seem to move from there?

I liked this poem a lot, you are able to talk about difficult topics so easily, airy and wonderful.

The actions you outline are the only way to seek and find true love. Take a leap of faith

Wonderful read.

I just hate it when I get stuck like that. Good thing it doesn't happen too often. This might be the reason men don't hunt around too much. Nice Job. Thanks
