Angelic Touch

My very young friend, the innocent one , that's why I wrote a poem to

Eyes so bright
A face of an angel
A look so shy
Wondering with some fear
Shall I come closer ..
" come dear "

You make me smile
Your words are of your world
Your voice tunes in my ears and folds
Memories I once had .. Once been there

A piece of heaven you are
When you leave, you strip off my joy
So stay a bit longer, come closer
Fill this sunk heart with rejoice
Leave me forever in your world of toys

Forget me there restless time
Leave me there until my time

The tenderness and innocence of a child, the freedom to say what they will, the look of wonderment in their eyes, to young yet to fear and as well to know completely the joy that they bring into our lives. The two lines I have copied said it all to me. This is lovely and touched my heart. Very nice.
