Heartbreak Makes Me Insane

Every word that's been

Spoken to me,

Every you're beautiful

You're special,

You're my one and only

Makes me feel good inside

But when I realize

Its all lies

I am heartbroken;

I pick up the pieces

And move on with my life

Only for it to 

Happen again

Picking up the pieces

Once more

I start over

Hoping it will be 

Different than before

Don' you see?

Heartbreak is what

Makes me insane,

It's why

There's a wall

That's so hard 

To tear down;

I put my all

Into you

But I was just 

A status...

Yet you wonder

Why I can't say

'I love you" back,

Its every 

Heartache brought

Back to the surface

It's wonderful Tasha and so true to form, this is what heartbroken people do, but when Pandora opens the box, also flies out hope, hope is what keeps the walls down for another try, ( ps..you are ARE beautiful ) you just haven't met the right one yet, it may take 2 it may take 50 but you WILL find it even if it is only inside yourself. :)

I enjoyed the form and the content. But I will drop this word of advice to the lovelorn. One can never depend on another for one's own happiness. Its easy to lay that responsibility or blame on someone elses shoulders but in the end we are all responsible for the choices we make, whether to our betterment or detriment in all things...love included.
