Wipe Away

Wipe Away

A Poem by Tasha
"

Life would be easier if you could wipe away things you don't like.

"
Wipe away my tear stained face,
The fear in my eyes when I look at you

Wipe away the pain in my heart
So the damage that has been done can subside

Wipe away the confusion in my mind
For ever doubting you

Putting all my insecurities on a windshield
While the wipers wipe them away

Its a thought that isn't needed,
It was just to drive me crazy

And it worked because I just want to take life's struggles
And wipe them away
From my mind,
Body,
And spirit

I wish I had a giant winsheild whiper that I put into my ear and hear it wipeing away all the pain and anguish and hurt and hate and all the rest of the feelings and emotions that bring me down... Very well said and a good dream to have, kinda felt as if I was in it in this read...

If we all had something to wipe away the thing we dont like the world would be a much happier place, but we still need all the imperfections so we all dont lose our true self. But every once and a while it be nice!! i love this and think is a great write!!!!

I liked the read of this write, and like it even more knowing it was birthed from a dream. I find it very interesting, as if it could be in totality a metaphor while also being just plain true. I see youth in your writing. It is as if watching you step gingerly and is refreshing. Well done. Thanks.

I feel the pain in this one, as you've written in your writing Wipe Away. We do face so many storms in life, yes often natures storm that's for sure but those soon go away. But the other storms we face on a daily basis it seems, those seem to stay stationary at times. And we find our selves asking, is this storm ever going to clear out of my life? Then you look upon others and realize, hey I'm not alone. There are others facing the same type of storms, and some of theirs are even worse then mine. Then a calm comes over you and you realize, hey at least I'm alive, I have ten fingers and ten toes, I'm able to walk, I'm not laid up in a hospital somewhere having frightening test performed on me. I'm Ok, and then eventually the storm your facing does dwindle and fade away. And you realize it's a new day.

Love the color it really sets the mood of the poem: BLUE. I agree it would be much easier to wipe away the negative things in life. Loved it, keep it up!

This is beautiful! I wish that we can do just that, wipe our life's situations away and start with a Tabular Rosa.
