Undefeated

The teen in school if mocked

For living his faith

But he doesn’t stop his talk

Because he fears his God more than their wraith

 

Undefeated!

 

The missionary is locked in prison

Because he believes his God is risen

They threaten and torture him

But he doesn’t give in because the spirit has filled him to the brim

 

Undefeated!

 

The martyr is given one chance to save his life

Deny Christ

Or be iced

But he knows he’s the savior’s wife

 

We’re undefeated!

Because we know death has been cheated

If God is for us, who can be against us?

No matter what we praise his name

It isn’t up to discuss

We will continue to fan the Lord’s flame

 

Undefeated!

Great strength and desire for living coming out of this writing Danny. Ironically enough Danny and if you allow me to shre "my take" I would have loved to see you writing here as I just came from another writing where war seems to have defeated the humanity out of some. To never become a defeatist!! as is not so much the act of "winning" by never giving up but the act of constaly trying day by day , minute by minute ,I will not cave in that this writing exudes and burns for.
