Something Glorious/Something Beautiful

Something Glorious/Something Beautiful

A Poem by Dannyisawriter

You're staring at the ceiling
Can't describe the hurt you're feeling
Can't fall asleep tonight
Unsure what it is about you that wasn't right
He broke your heart
And you're not sure if you can restart

Let me show you something glorious
Let me show you Someone glorious
His love is divine
He'll never leave you behind

So push through your fear
Open your heart and God will appear
No man can compare
Any damage he did, God can repair
So don't give up hope
God will clear away the smoke

Let me show you something beautiful
Let me show you you're beautiful
God made you the way you're meant to be
And he loves you invariably

So just because one man can't see what he's missing
Doesn't mean anything
Just follow God
Trust in his grand plot
You'll never be alone
As he'll show you a love like you've never known

Let me show you something glorious
Let me show you Someone glorious
Let me show you something beautiful
let me show you you're beautiful
God loves you
And you'll never be alone

Nicely written. This is the perfect comfort poem for somebody who's just broken up with somebody! Keep up the good work!

Thanks for taking the time to read my work :) Means a lot
Really well written. The truth to this poem just makes it even better, I remember when you first read my writing and told me to look to God and I denied that I still had depression. The fact that someone could just read my writing and tell me God was on my side showed me where I really needed to look. So thank you Danny, for showing me someone glorious.

It's all good. I am not one to judge xD
Well written, I enjoyed this. I do agree with the suggestions made by MomZ, although I think she meant to type "man", not "many"

Yes, I did mean "man" and have now corrected it. Thanks.

thanks!!! :)
Powerful words and a strong testament of Faith.

NOTES: Pronouns for God are usually capitalized by the Faithful.
For poetic balance,
Unsure what about you wasn't right
You're not sure if you can restart
I recommend changing "So just because one man can't see what he's missing" to something like, "So, one man can't see what he's missing?"
He'll show you love you've never known
