I want to spill my heart out on this paper
Drawing in the brightest ink
To tell you everything you need to know
To explain just what you mean to me. 


I want to draw your name in the sand
Far away from the waves so it can't wash away
And we can walk down to look
To make sure that it stayed 


I want to give you all the stars
And lay them all in your hands
Watch one shooting across the sky
Then make a wish together before it lands 


I want to kiss you in the rain
While the raindrops come pouring down
I want to ignore the lightning
And the thunder as it crashes around


I want to bottle up the sound of your voice
And carry it close wherever I go
Then, when I'm missing an "I love you"
I can listen to it and know


I want to stop time whenever I can
Just to savor it a moment longer
Then replay it all in my mind
And watch as this grows stronger


I want to go through every moment, good and bad
And to make it, do whatever we have to do
I want to fight and I want to make up
But I only want to do it with you


I want to be the first thing you wake to in the morning
And the last thing you see when you close your eyes
There's so many things I want to do
So tell me.. Can I?
