I wonder why you want me 
And I wonder why you care 
So many people in this world 
And you saw me standing there 

I wonder why you love me 
But yet I haven't asked you 
And I wonder why out of everyone 
You wanted me to love you too 

I wonder what sets me apart 
From every other girl 
The thing that makes me your life 
Your everything, your world 

I wonder why you seem to need me 
More with every passing day 
And why you always pull me closer 
And never push me away 

I wonder why you fell for me
I honestly just don't know 
Why you chose me to want 
And with me you want to grow old 

I'd love it if you told me 
Because I can't even begin to guess why 
Out of all the girls you could have 
I was the one who caught your eye
