Forgetting What Once Was

Forgetting What Once Was

A Poem by Dark Cloud
"

This poem was written to the after math of the SpanksGiving Dungeon @ Galaxy's where I received a concussion & ended up with temporary memory loss.

"
The time has come, move on
the door is open, walk in
This empty space, my home
The memory of you, who are you?
The silence is deafening, only to me
Alone in the hospital, people all around me
I push for the nurse, why am I here?
I stare at you blankly, we met before
My head it hurts, I enjoy the abuse
Cuts on my body, where did they come from?
Forgetting everything, the mind is lost
Blank memories, the silent melody
You call my name, what is it?
We walk out together, who are you?
Take my hand, I'm lost & dazed
Who is this girl, she is kissing me
Who is this girl, she is hugging me
Who is this girl who says she loves me
I know who you are, where is this place?
Sometime today, come back to me please
Never forget me, I already lost myself
What once was, is never no more
What is now, is yours my heart
