One Life

One Life

A Poem by Satoshi IroTzu

Oh, my youth
I was a child but I missed you

I had barrels of laughter
I cried wild and long rivers
But my love for friends and play
captured pleasant memories at the end of a day

In a flash it went years of teenager
In a mantle was my  intrigue by life and death
a philosopher for I was set

Alone, but never lonely
befriended words and ideas
family at heart, visions on mind
Now, just like You, I glide to end of time

I appreciate your honesty, and I am glad to see that you found it enjoyable.
I like the idea but have some problems with how you have it worded. In the second sentence, you didn't clarify who or what you missed. In the seventh sentence, (In a flash it went years of teenager) here you didn't clarify what IT was that when by. (In a mantle was my intrigue by life and death) I don't understand this sentence, mantle meaning "a loose, sleeveless cloak or cape" is that what you meant? And it should be "was I intrigued by life and death". (befriended words and ideas) should be "befriended by words and ideas". (family at heart, visions on mind) "visions on my mind" or "visions in my mind". (Now, just like You, I glide to end of time) to the end of time.
Polished up and this will be great :~)
