The Girl Out At Sea

The Girl Out At Sea

A Poem by Dark Poet
"

Drowning and drowning with no one ever noticing

"
The girl out at sea
Shes slowly going under
Her screams are a silent plea
Is anyone out there to save her?
She will wonder

The water is cold
Numbing her dying body
It has a strong hold
Its not afraid of any body
She yells
Nobody hears
Blood she smells
As death nears
As it quiets down
Somebody hears her cries for help

As she continues to drown
If only somebody would realize
That girl out at sea

That is me.

This is a great insight about people who are never there in a time of need.

DP - really great work. I very much "enjoyed" this poem. Dark, but wonderfully evocative.

About
I used to write very depressing thing due to my past mindset. I have now overcome that and will write a new kind of theme. It will still resemble some darkness because that is what I am best at, but t.. more..
