WritersCafe Is Terminal

WritersCafe Is Terminal

A Poem by David O Whalen (O Haolin in Celtic)
"

Get used to it! Once the ads start they just multiply. Been there, done that. Seen it happen. It'll take a bit before they overwhelm this site too. (and they will, they will.

"

When` ads appear as

Poetry...how far away

can the end days be

Poetry Showcase

A truly good site

In both content and taste

Faded away into the night

Due to the blight

Of ads posted as poetry

On that once great site

Well...The Cancer has arrived

Here and now on this site

Mark my words...It won’t be short lived

Nor will it be a welcome sight

Backup all your stories and poetry

This site will wither and die

It will take a bit...You can count on it

Trust me...I don’t lie

WritersCafe I hate to say it

Your days are numbered my friend

Once the ads take hold

You’ll yearn for the old (like Showcase)`

…”WritersCafe” again...

I think what killed this site is not ads. But unhonest fake reviews lot of pride and reviews mobs etc. P. S. Writers cafe is already death.
