Mind Games

Mind Games

A Poem by Rambling Prose
"

It's a surprise!

"

His eyes deep brown, hair black silk

     BREATHTAKING…sigh

His fingers caressing the French linen table cover

         Mmm…SEXY

My heart mounted wings, my soul took flight

             I’m…SOARING

What was he thinking? This mysterious man

      Helplessly…ENRAPTURED

Perhaps it was the intrigue in his eyes

             Like magic…ALLURING

The language his body seemed to speak

           TAUNTING…me

In any case, I quickly grabbed the last hot roll!

           Yeah baby!...SIZZLING

One can never be sure of the thoughts lurking

within the chambers a famished mind…

             Mmm…

                    Pass the butter, Please!

Rambling Prose
I love the art of creating an illusion, only to leave the reader shaking their head at the finish line! Besides, I'm a double entendre junkie! I hope you enjoy your roll!

Brilliant.
I totally LOL'd in class
My teacher gave me a death stare then read it.
Found it funny.
Whole class read it.
Some didn't get it.
Idiots.
Anyway I love it.
I was completely expecting something.
Way to take advantage of the fith that the human mind has become so open about.

I love this!! It is so sexy, yet surprising. The imagery is very clear, yet disguising!!

Nicely Done!!

My haste in getting to "the roll" was a clever ploy, planted by a clever mind! Nicely done!

I would prefer the sweetness of Orange Marmalade, to the softness of butter, thank you!

My best,
Kelly

Yay! That started out really *gasp* but then it turned really *yay!*. Well.. ok, so I can word it better than that. It seemed to be so serious at first (my mind screamed, "Vampires?!"). Then, at the ending, I smiled because it was really cute. You're so very talented. Mmmm. I can almost smell it... mmmmm. Your imagery is... astounding. Amazing. Captivating. =] GREAT JOB!!

That was fun...I always loved the double entendre myself. And it something you seem to have a great handle on.

Well done
