WHAT WILL BE

WHAT WILL BE

A Poem by Debbie_Philly
"

A small poem for some dear to me.

"

WHAT WILL BE

Little boy, Little boy

Where are you now?

Are you dreaming of

boats are you floating

on clouds?

Where’s the innocents

once draped on your face?

As I look at you now I

search for a trace.

Of the boy I once knew

who is now a man.

Drifting through his life

without any plans.

Stretch out your hands

set your world on fire.

Know that your happiness

is  my one true desire.

This cruel world is daunting

more then we can bare.

Sometimes it seems as though

life is truly unfair.

Let go of the past kick your

heels up and sing.

know that in this life’s story

there is one true thing.

My love for you is real for

both boy and man.

Look at this girl/women

grab hold of her hand.

Keep safe your sweets innocents

don’t let go of your dreams.

Hold your head up when it all

falls apart at the seams.

Never let go of my hand

believe when I say.

I love you so much more

now then I did yesterday.

WOW totally awesome

The way this poem flows, with it clear message is brilliant

The paragraph that starts "keep safe your sweet innocents." is captivating

If I keep writing for the next hour or two and watched the sun come up, I could not put
enough words on paper to truly describe this work of art

Bravo my Friend

I get tears in my eyes and my hearts is in my throat when I read this and some of your other work you know that.

Deb you are really good. I told you that too.

I'll try and answer:

Look in your heart I've always been there. You've ALWAYS been I mine anyway.Hope to always have you there. Maybe again someday.

I don't know were it went but I'm tried of gettting this far and get no farther, sucks,

Drifting-yep- my plans don't ever work out.
Keep my eyes on the prize- hard to watch it slip through- It gets tiring making other plans.

Cruel- i agree...but you are there at home waiting...I didn't want you to feel like you HAD to put on make up before I walked in the door, I love you, not mayabline.

Let go of the past-uuhhhmmmm.. me thinks you should too!!!

I haven't let go.
Don't think I ever really will.

I love you too

ps- I misspelled DRIFTER not drAfter

Hold your head up...I try but its getting tough
