Keep On

Keep On

A Poem by Denise

We try to find ourselves, when ourselves seem to be gone,

But we must learn that we are already ourselves, and just keep on.

We try to make ourselves seem small like an ant in a school lawn,

But we must learn to feel big and mighty, and just keep on.

We try not to be noticed when their are others in the room,

But we must learn to stand out and stand strong, and just keep on.

We try to make excuses when we've done something wrong,

But we must learn to accept what was done, and just keep on.

We try to feel like no one loves us when we don't love ourselves,

But we must learn to love what God made us to be, and just keep on.

If we remember this poem, and apply it to our lives, then we will try and

we will learn to just keep on.

Bravo! A wonderful piece about striving each day for enlightenment and a better and higher stepping stone.

I liked the repitition and it's simple yet heart felt resonance.

Great Poem!
