Tell me a story

Tell me a story

A Poem by Deseret
"

sometimes i get so tired of the way the world is protrayed

"

Tell me a story

When i was a kid

more then anything i did

I loved to hear stories

they soothed my small worries

I would relish when

Good beat Bad's

tried domination, then

The badguys were sorry and sad

But i never believed it

I never made that bet

from the eyes

of the people i met

Now I've grown

and think of some

 of the sadness i've known

Wondering, when will it be done?

I watch on my tv

and start to think

from the things i see

Is there anyone with a smile and a wink?

Is anyone happy?

Is anyone blessed?

on the verge of Sappy

I just want a rest

So tell me a true story

a sweet simple story

 NOT where good defeats bad

and the badguys are sorry and sad

Tell me what i really need to know

IS ANYONE HAPPY?
