Bliss

Bliss

A Poem by Moonflower

Sleep Little Lambs

Hide
Your Innocent Eyes

Your Master
Will Save you
From your Own
Lies

Dream Little Lambs

He will Never
Let

you

See
Anything That
Hurts
That's to Truthful
To Believe

Walk Little Lambs

To the pasture
He leads you

Lay out your necks
So your master

Can bleed you.

this poem here is one of the gems of WC that deserves to be spotlighted,
the accentuated flow is the beauty of the wording, that speaks soft as a lull
yet the meaning is tragic as death itself, which really makes this poem
brilliant and a marvel to ponder in light of the emotion effects the
meaning has on the heart, 100 across the boards.

Wow. Where in da heck did that come from! This was such a beautiful poem
and then we were blindsided in the end. It was a haunting look at the manipulative and savage nature of man. It is quite frightening to take a long look at the evil deeds man is capable of. There seems to be a heart this is quite jaded and could literally take a lifetime to win over. IT could be completely exhausting, to prove one worthy to receive such love. I wonder if such epic expectations are obstacles designed to make one give up.

Bliss turns to piss pretty quickly for sheep!

"Sleep Little Lambs/Hide/Your Innocent Eyes/Your Master/Will Save you/From your Own/Lies"

Those lines add a striking new twist to the "lambs to slaughter" theme -- the idea of killing saving them from their own illusions.

This poem grows on the reader in a cryptic way -- for the layers of lies and truths run deep for everyone.
